Mosquito sample tests positive for West Nile Virus in Schuykill County

CRESSONA, PA (WTXF) - According to Pennsylvania's West Nile Control Program, a new mosquito sample has tested positive for West Nile Virus.

A sample was collected on April 21 from the borough of Cressona in Schuykill County, Pa.

Program staff will follow up with additional surveillance and control as needed.
