Neshaminy Coach Devine Cited For Harassment

Bucks County prosecutors announced that they will recommend a citation against suspended Neshaminy High School basketball coach Jerry Devine, in relation with the incident earlier this month when Devine got physical with a referee while arguing a call during the game.

According to a letter issued by prosecutors, the citation is punishable with up to 90 days in jail and a fine that may not exceed $300. A prosecutor has been assigned in the event that Devine requests a hearing.

The video of the January 5 incident went viral. After he was placed on administrative leave, Devine returned to his teaching duties earlier this week, but remained suspended as basketball coach.
