New Castle County Police Department Helps Girl Deliver Toys to Local Children's Hospital

NEW CASTLE COUNTY, DE (WTXF) - New Castle County Police Department had the pleasure of escorting Miss Emma and her family to A.I. DuPont Hospital Monday morning for her coloring fundraiser.

Emma previously colored pictures to sell so she could raise money to give gifts to the children that would spend their holidays in the hospital.

With the help of an escort from the New Castle County Police, Emma was able to hand deliver over $300 worth of toys.

In a post on Facebook, the New Castle County Police Department acknowledged that helping Emma was a great way to spend a Monday morning and commended Emma for her efforts.

It was our pleasure to escort Miss Emma and her family to A.I. DuPont Hospital. Miss Emma delivered a trunk full of toys and games to the kids at A.I. What a great way to spend a Monday morning.
