KINGWOOD, NJ (WTXF) - New Jersey State Police are searching for the person responsible for shooting a dog with a BB gun in Kingwood.
According to a post on NJ State Police’s Facebook page, on February 13, troopers responded to a call at the victim – a pooch named Sergeant – and his owner’s home located on State Highway 12 in Kingwood Township.
The owner had previously found a copper BB lodged in her dog’s head.
She was grooming Sergeant when she noticed a small, hard lump.
Police believe that someone with access to her rural property may be responsible for shooting Sergeant.
