Newark Police Department warns of common pedestrian violations

The Newark Delaware Police Department recently did an audit of their surveillance cameras, and you won't believe what they found on the video!

They want to warn people of common pedestrian violations such as crossing the street at the wrong time, J-Walking and not paying attention to your surroundings while crossing.

One of the surveillance videos shows a group of young men all looking down at their mobile devices, including a laptop, while crossing the street.

The department even felt the need to explain what the signals mean at the pedestrian crosswalk.

In a more lighthearted part of the video, the department warns pedestrians not to cross the street while wearing a New York Giants jersey, saying 'Go Eagles.'
