NWS Confirms Tornado in Lancaster County Wednesday Morning
LANCASTER COUNTY, PA (WTXF) - The National Weather Service has confirmed Wednesday's storm damage in Lancaster County was caused by a tornado.
They say it happened around midnight on Wednesday, as it touched down in East Hempfield Township.
Winds reached 100 miles-per-hour, giving it an EF 1 classification.
Trees were uprooted and some parts of roofs were ripped off.
No injuries were reported.
