Officers rush man to hospital after Kensington shooting

KENSINGTON (WTXF) - A man is extremely critical condition Monday morning after police say he was shot multiple times overnight.

The shooting occurred near G Street and East Westmoreland Street around 12:30 a.m.

Police say the victim was shot a total of four times in the neck, ribs, abdomen, and hip. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital by responding officers, and was placed in critical condition.

No arrests have been made at this time, and investigators are working to identify a suspect.
