Officials: Man, 50, ejected from NJ home following gas explosion

A man was ejected from his home when a gas line reportedly exploded Friday night in Delran, New Jersey.

The incident took place on Cornell Drive around 10:30 p.m.

Paramedics tell FOX 29 it is a miracle the 50-year-old man was not killed.

Police say the force of the explosion blew out the home's first floor windows and knocked down the rear exterior wall, rendering the home uninhabitable.

Water, electric and gas workers were on the scene and confirmed no other homes had to be evacuated following the explosion.
