Philadelphia Fire Department mourns loss of one of their own

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The Philadelphia Fire Department sadly reported the loss of one of their own on Friday.

60-year-old Kenneth Green Sr. passed away at Einstein Hospital Thursday, after he was rushed there earlier this month while on duty.

Green worked for the department for 23 years and was an Army veteran. He worked out of the Engine 37 firehouse.

Back in 2007, his unit was honored for helping save 2 people from a fire in Brewerytown.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
