Philadelphia Police Issue Friendly Warning Regarding Star Wars Spoilers

While spoiling the details of the newest Star Wars film is not technically a crime, many movie buffs wish it was.

This includes the Philadelphia Police Department.

The department shared a photo on Facebook of two Storm Troopers being searched by officers prior to the release of The Force Awakens this Friday.

No, posting #StarWarsForceAwakens spoilers online is not a crime. Yes, it should be. However, any illegal Sith behavior will still be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Not in our town, Kylo.

Along with the photo, the department wrote:

The Force is strong with the Philadelphia Police force.
