Police: Burglars pistol-whip man during home invasion in Mayfair

MAYFAIR (WTXF) - Police say a man in his twenties was pistol-whipped by burglars during a home invasion in Mayfair overnight.

According to police, the 28-year-old victim was standing outside the Revere Court Apartments around midnight when two men approached.

The suspects allegedly forced the victim inside his apartment, handcuffing him to the fridge while they ransacked the place.

They took off with a television, $200-dollars and a debit card, escaping before police arrived.

The victim, who told police he recognized one of the suspects, is now recovering and in stable condition.
