Police identify suspect in Catholic school burglary, theft

Philadelphia detectives have identified a suspect wanted in connection with the burglary of a church in Modena.

According to police, Sarah Higgins, 29, burglarized Martha's church back on February 2 nd .

Philadelphia Police responded to the church on the 1100 block of Academy Road for the reported theft the next day.

When officers arrived, a school employee informed them that an unknown person entered the building around 7:50 p.m. and stole an undetermined amount of money from the school's book sales before fleeing the building.

Higgins is described as 5'1". 125 lbs. with fair skin, and dark brown shoulder length hair.

She was last known to reside on the 200 block of Lafayette Street in Bristol, Pennsylvania. Police say she is known to frequent Bristol Township, Bucks County, Northeast Philadelphia and Bryn Mawr Township.

A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
