Police investigate abduction, sexual assault in West Phila

PHILADELPHIA, PA (WTXF) – Police say a man abducted a woman and sexually assaulted her in the West Philadelphia section of the city.

This happened early Saturday morning beginning from the area of 49th St and Lancaster Avenue. A 20-year old black female was forced into a black 4 door vehicle with tinted windows with the rear driver side window covered with a trash bag at approximately 4:00 am.

The female victim was bound by duct tape then physically and sexually assaulted.

Police say the woman was able to free herself at 3:00p.m. at  S. 57th St and Larchwood Ave.

She was transported by police for treatment.

Meanwhile, police are looking for the gunman. He is described as a 23-year old, black male with a dark complexion, with dreadlocks, and a long beard.
