Police investigate armed home invasion in North Philly

Police are investigating following reports of a home invasion in North Philadelphia.

The incident took place around 10:30 p.m. on the 3600 block of North 3rd Street.

Police say that when a 47-year-old woman was entering her home, she was approached from behind by two men wearing masks and gloves. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

The suspects allegedly forced the woman inside, threatening her if she did not comply.

Nothing was taken, and the victim was left uninjured.

Police describe one suspect as a 5'7"-5'8" Hispanic man in his early twenties. Police say he weighs 180-190 pounds, has a large build and was seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black gloves while armed with a handgun.

Police describe the second suspect as a 5'7"-5'8" Hispanic man in his early twenties with a thin build. He was seen wearing a gray hoodie.

No arrests have been made at this time.
