Police investigate armed robbery in Olney 7-11

Police in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood are investigating an armed robbery that took place early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at a 7-Eleven on the 100 block of East Champlost Avenue.

Police say two suspects entered the store, and one of the suspects pointed a gun at a male employee, demanding he open the register. Meanwhile, the second suspect stood by the door acting as a lookout.

The armed suspect removed cash from both registers and both suspects fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

The both suspects have been described as males between 17-19 years old. The armed suspect is believed to be Hispanic or black and stand 5'8"-5'9", while the second suspect is described as a black male standing 5'6"-5'8".
