Police investigating double shooting in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are investigating a double shooting that happened in North Philadelphia overnight.

According to officials, two men arrived at Temple Hospital sometimes around 1:20 a.m. with gunshot wounds - one to the hand and the other to the hip.

The victims claim that they were being robbed by another man on Germantown Avenue near West Atlantic Street in North Philadelphia.

The victim that was shot in the hand says he attempted to grab the gun from the robber when he was shot.

That bullet then traveled through his hand and then through the other male's hip.

The investigation continues.
