The incident occurred in the area of Route 130 South and East Federal Street at 12:08 a.m.

Police responded to the scene for reports of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

When officers and paramedics arrived, they found a victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation revealed that the victim, Antwan L. Timbers Jr. was walking with a friend off the roadway when he was struck by Patterson.
