Police investigating triple shooting in Hunting Park

HUNTING PARK (WTXF) - Police are investigating a triple shooting in Hunting Park that happened overnight Friday.

The incident occurred in the area of 5 th and Erie at 1:20 a.m.

According to police, three victims were riding their bikes when they heard three gunshots.

A 40-year-old man was shot in the buttocks and taken to Temple from the area by medics.

An 18-year-old was shot in the knee while a 17-year-old was shot in the lower back. The teens managed to ride their bikes to the 17-year-old's house a few blocks away where medics picked them up and took them to Temple.

All three victims are stable. No ballistic evidence was found at the scene, but there are cameras in the area.
