Police: Man, 23, stabbed in West Philadelphia; woman sought

WEST PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Police are investigating following an early morning stabbing in West Philadelphia.

The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on the 5100 block of Haverford Avenue when an unknown woman attempted to break into the victim's father's car.

The suspect then allegedly stabbed the 23-year-old man in the head and stomach. He was transported to Mercy Philadelphia Hospital and placed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
