Police: Man, 27, dies after being shot in the head in West Philly

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are investigating following a deadly shooting in West Philadelphia Wednesday morning.

Just before 10 a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of North 42nd Street, where they found a 27-year-old man who had been shot in the head.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made and no weapon has been recovered.
