Police: Man, 29, shot and killed in West Oak Lane

WEST OAK LANE (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a 29-year-old man was shot and killed in West Oak Lane Tuesday night.

Around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the 6400 block of Beechwood Street, where the victim was found shot multiple times to the mouth, chest, back and leg.

Police say at least 11 bullets were fired at close range.

The victim was later identified by police as Leverne Jackson of West Oak Lane.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
