Police: Man fatally stabbed in Center City, suspect in custody

CENTER CITY (WTXF) - A suspect is in custody after a fatal stabbing in Center City Friday morning, according to Philadelphia Police.

Police say a man in his mid-to-late 50s was stabbed on the 1900 block of Vine Street around 7:45 a.m. Friday.

The victim was stabbed multiple times in the neck and face and was pronounced dead at the scene just minutes later. FOX 29's Steve Keeley reports the suspect was a woman.

Police say they arrested a suspect at 17 th and Vine Street and recovered a weapon.
