Police: Man in Critical Condition After Being Shot in Chest in East Germantown

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A man is in critical condition after a shooting in East Germantown Thursday afternoon.

The incident occurred on the 2100 block of Medary Avenue around 10:00 a.m.

Police say a 33-year-old male was shot one time in the chest.

The victim was transported to Einstein Medical Center by police, and was listed in critical condition.

Investigators believe the man was shot by someone in a silver sedan with an out of state license plate.

No weapons have been recovered, and no arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
