Police: Man sleeping in dumpster becomes stuck in garbage truck

PORT RICHMOND - A man was taken to the hospital Monday morning after he was found stuck in a garbage truck in Port Richmond.

Officers responded to the 3600 block of Aramingo Avenue around 6:45 a.m. to a report of a man trapped inside a truck.

Police say the 36-year-old victim was sleeping in a dumpster at the Speedway gas station when the dumpster was emptied.

The man was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
