Police: Man wanted for lewd act on sidewalk in Evesham Twp.

EVESHAM TWP., NJ (WTXF) - Police in Evesham Township, New Jersey are looking to identify a man they saw committed a lewd act in front of a woman late last month.

Back on June 29, around 1:20 p.m. police say the male suspect was seen committing a lewd act on the walking path near Route 73 and North Cropwell Road.

A woman on her lunch break says she saw the man committing the act while walking in the area on her lunch break.

The man spotted the woman and began to walk towards her, causing the victim to turn around and walk away, calling for help on her phone.

Surveillance video later captured the suspect running North on Cropwell Road near Greentree Road.

Police have described the suspect as a white male, approximately 35-years-old, with a medium build, standing 6-feet tall. The suspect is believed to have a tattoo on one of his forearms and one of his calves.
