Police: Pumpkins used to vandalize cars in Langhorne

Authorities in Bucks County are investigating a string of vandalism incidents that involved pumpkins late last week.

Police say at least three cars were damaged after they were hit by pumpkins sometime overnight on Friday in Middletown Township.

All three incidents occurred in Langhorne, where at least two cars had a window or windshield smashed out by a pumpkin. In another incident, the body of a van was damaged by a thrown pumpkin as well.

The incidents occurred on the 400 block of Fairman Lane, the 2000 block of Old Lincoln Highway, and the 200 block of Colonial Drive in Langhorne.

Police say pumpkins were also reported stolen from two homes in Langhorne on the same night, including two from a home on the 600 block of Valley View Road, and four more were taken from a home on Flint Road.
