- Police in New Castle County have released surveillance video of the suspected vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident that severely injured a 12-year-old boy. They are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a car involved in a hit and run that injured a young boy Monday evening.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

The incident occurred Monday, December 5th around 5:40 p.m. on the unit block of Memorial Drive.

12-year-old Bryan Richards was with a friend from that neighborhood and was crossing the street when he was hit.  He suffered multiple broken bones, a fractured skull, and has blood on the brain. His mother says he has a long road ahead.

Investigators believe the car could possibly be a red 2004-2010 Chrysler 300 with a missing side mirror. The passenger side mirror should have yellow-tinted glass with a chrome back.
