Police release sketch of man who robbed woman with stun gun in New Castle County

Police in New Castle County are investigating a robbery in an apartment complex and have released a sketch of the man in hopes that the public can identify him.

The incident occurred on October 23 at 7:50 p.m. in the community of Carrington Way Apartments.

Police responded to the unit block of Kimberton Drive after reports of a robbery.

When they arrived, police spoke to the victim who said she had been robbed. The victim said that she was standing in front of the apartment building when two suspects approached in a pickup truck.

The victim says that one suspect got out of the truck, approached her, and demanded property. He then took out a stun gun and attempted to use it on her. Police say he pushed the victim to the ground after taking her belongings, and then both suspects fled in the pickup truck.

The driver of the truck is described as a white male.

The other suspect who approached the victim is described as a white male, 16-18-years-old, 5'9"-5'10", 140-150 pounds, with blond curly hair and wearing all black clothing.

Police obtained surveillance footage of the suspect's vehicle and a police sketch artist completed a sketch of the suspect that approached the victim.
