Police searching for man caught on camera stealing from Toms River home

TOMS RIVER, NJ (WTXF) - Police in Toms River are investigating a home burglary that happened early Saturday morning.

The incident occurred at a home on Wyoming Drive shortly before 4:30 a.m.

The family inside the home, including children, were sleeping when the suspect entered and stole two purses before leaving.

Surveillance cameras caught the man entering and then leaving.

Police are searching for a white male, possibly in his early to mid-20s wearing a zip-up Champion hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and what police believe were two-toned Adidas flip flops.
