Police searching for suspect in Fairless Hills bank robbery

Bristol Police are searching for a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred late Sunday morning in Fairless Hills.

The incident occurred at 11:50 a.m. at the TD Bank located at 624 South Oxford Valley Road.

According to a press release, a firearm was not displayed during the robbery.

Police say that a note was given to a bank teller with instructions to follow directions and no one would get hurt.

The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money. He is described as a black male wearing a grey shirt and having tattoos on his arm. He wore glasses and had a beard.

The suspect reportedly fled on foot towards Deon Square, north of the bank on South Oxford Valley Road.

Police checked the area to locate the suspect but were unsuccessful.
