Police search for suspect in multiple North Philly robberies
NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are searching for a suspect in multiple commercial robberies in North Philadelphia.
On June 15 at 7:02 p.m., the suspect entered a Verizon store on the 4300 block of Main Street and handed a demand note to the plaintiff. She then stole multiple iPhones and fled south down Cotton Street towards Cresson Street on foot.
On July 27, the suspect was involved in a similar robbery at a Verizon store at 301 Spring Garden Street where she again handed the plaintiff a demand note. The suspect then stole more iPhones.
Police have described the suspect as a black female, 5'4"-5'7" and 190 pounds. She has a medium to heavy build and was wearing a black colored hijab, black yoga pants, a grey sweater with quarter-length sleeves, black ballet type shoes and carrying a large white bag with an orange liner.
