Building Owner Shot Dead in Nicetown-Tioga, Police Searching For 3 Suspects

Philadelphia Police are searching for three men after a man was shot and killed in the city's Nicetown-Tioga section yesterday.

Investigators say the 49-year-old victim was found in the building he owns, on the 4800 block of Germantown Avenue.

Two of the suspects ran off, while a third drove away.

Police aren't sure if robbery was the motive, but they say the victim was found with thousands of dollars of cash still in his pocket

"He was treating people good in this neighborhood. He got a son that is 8-years old. How can I explain that to his son. You know, how I can I explain that to my mother that she's never gonna see her son again," the victim's brother said after the incident.

Police say they do have surveillance video, and they're hoping it will help lead them to the suspects.
