Police: Serial Bandit robbed 10 local banks since 2012

PHILADELPHIA, PA (WTXF) -The search is on for a serial bandit. The FBI needs the public's help to find the man who has robbed 10 local banks since 2012, and he's no ordinary criminal.

"Give me the money, be calm, be fast. No dye packs," he tells bank employees at each robbery.

This serial bank robber has targeted Bucks and Montgomery counties. He's struck from Schwenksville to Yardley, Plymouth meeting to Wrightstown and twice in Ambler at two different banks.

The bandit has also gotten into several bank vaults. Agents believe he's in his 50s, 6-foot to 6-2. He may use a teal or light blue colored BMW as a getaway car. They want an arrest before anyone gets hurt.

"If he gets upset with a teller. He could take a shot, we don't know, but there's always going to be a danger," Sucheski explained.

The serial bandit's last bank robbery was almost a year ago in Dresher.

The FBI believes he's cased other banks, but walked away because the situation wasn't right. They don't know why he's gone quiet all of a sudden. They're hoping a reward and these images of the bank robber will lead to an arrest.

If you have any information on the bank robber, you can call the FBI.
