Police: Suspect robs same Dunkin Donuts twice 48-hours

Philadelphia Police are looking for a man they say was involved in several robberies at the same North Philadelphia store.

Both incidents occurred within two days of each other this past Tuesday and Thursday at the Dunkin Donuts on the 500 block of West Lehigh Avenue.

Tuesday, police say the suspect approached the drive thru window around 8:55 p.m., and climbed through the window, into the store. An 18-year-old woman working in the window ran to the rear of the store, and was followed by the suspect.

The suspect asked if she had anything in her pockets before turning his attention to the drive thru cash register , and took an unknown amount of cash.

On Thursday, police say the suspected once again climbed through the same drive through window around 2:30 a.m. When a male employee working the front counter spotted the suspect he fled the building.

When the employee returned, he found both register drawers missing, and the suspect had fled back through the window in an unknown direction.

Police have described the suspect as a black male, 20-30 years old, standing 5'10" with a thin build, dark complexion, and a thick beard.

Anyone with information about this suspect is urged to contact police.
