Police Investigate Death of Woman Found in Delaware Home

Police in Delaware are investigating the death of a woman inside her own home.

Shock and horror as a brilliant psychiatrist was found murdered at her home on withers way in Hockessin, Delaware. She was found by her daughter who called 911, according to police.

Investigators say moments later the phone rang again

"While officers secure scene an individual calls 911 and claims responsibility for the incident this individual provides enough detail. We went to his location and took him into custody without incident," said New Castle Police Department Officer Tom Jackson.

Police cars were stationed outside the suspect's home in the Autumnwood development. Neighbors say he was troubled boy.

Police are releasing few details but have made it clear to the rattled Sanford Ridge community where the victim lived that she was specifically targeted.
