Quadruple shooting injures 4 teens in Point Breeze

Police in South Philadelphia are investigating a drive-by shooting that sent four teenagers to the hospital on Thursday night.

The shooting occurred around 8 p.m. on the 1800 block of South Ringold Street in Point Breeze when gunfire came from a dark-colored sedan.

Police say two 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old were shot along with an 18-year-old.

The 15-year-old victim was shot in the hip and abdomen and taken to the hospital in critical condition. The two other teens were taken to the hospital in private cars in stable condition.

The 18-year-old victim was also shot in the stomach and was taken to the hospital by police in critical condition.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley spoke to Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross, who explained that none of the teenage victims were known to police and the motive is unknown at this time.

Police say they have not yet made any arrests.
