Ramsey to Consult For Wilmington

Recently retired Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey has been brought on as a public safety consultant with the city of Wilmington, the city announced Monday.

Ramsey left office as Philadelphia commissioner after eight years when Richard Ross succeeded him last week. He's now been brought in to help Wilmington's police and fire departments.

"I am honored to have Commisioner Ramsey partner with Chief Cummings & WPD to help us continue to move forward," Mayor Dennis P. Williams said on Twitter.
