Secret Service Officer Indicted for Sending Obscene Materials

WTXF - An officer in the U.S. Secret Service who was recently assigned to the White House has been indicted on a charge that he attempted to transfer obscene materials to a minor.

Lee Robert Moore, 37, of Maryland, an employee of the U.S. Secret Service-Uniformed Division who was assigned to the White House as of last month, was arrested Nov. 9 and the charges were announced Wednesday by U.S. Attorney Charles M. Oberly III of the District of Delaware.

According to the announcement, Moore sent indecent materials to an undercover agent who he believed was a female minor, as part of a two-month online "relationship." Moore, the U.S. Attorney's office said, sometimes conducted the chats while at work.
