SEPTA Train Strikes Disabled Car Injuring 2; Service Restored

- SEPTA's Regional Rail Service on the Manayunk Norristown line has was suspended for several hours early Wednesday morning after the train struck a car.

The collision occurred around 6:30 a.m. in the area of Cherry and Washington Streets in Conshohocken. 

A SEPTA spokesperson tells FOX 29 the car was disabled on the tracks, and nobody was inside the vehicle during the crash. 

Officials say two passengers on board the train suffered minor injuries in the crash, and 55 people were onboard the train at the time.

Service has since been restored.
