Society Hill Robbery Suspect Caught on Video

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - An elderly man became the victim of a strange robbery in the Society Hill section earlier this week.

Philadelphia Police say Sunday afternoon on Delancey Street, an 84-year old man noticed someone standing behind a curtain, when he walked into his home.

The man says someone told him, "I was told you have guns and lots of cash."

The robber got close to 500 dollars and two shotguns and jumped into the victim's car.

But police say he couldn't figure out how to start it, so he bailed and left the car and the shotguns behind.
