St. Patrick's Day Parade route, road closures

- This weekend the city of Philadelphia will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day with the annual parade!

The celebration however will come with some street closures.

At 12:15 p.m. Sunday, the St. Patrick's Day Parade will begin on the 1600 block of JFK Boulevard, and make its way east toward 16th Street,

From there, the marchers will head north on 16th toward the Ben Franklin Parkway, then to the north side of Eakins Oval to the reviewing stand.

Traffic delays are expected in the area.

Road closures are as follows:

  • J.F.K. Blvd.-- 16th St. to Schuylkill Avenue-- 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • 16th St.-- Market to B.F. Parkway--  12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
  • B.F. Parkway-- 16th St. to Eakins Oval -- 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
