Suspect sought after double shooting inside home leaves 1 dead

Police are investigating a double shooting inside a home in North Philadelphia that left one man dead.

The shooting occurred in an upstairs bedroom of a home on the 2500 block of Gratz Street around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday night.

A 23-year-old man was shot in the head and later died at Temple University Hospital. A 21-year-old man was also shot in the shoulder and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police say the 21-year-old victim lived in the home, and believe the victims were with a third man when the shots were fired. Investigators say they believe that man is the gunman and they know who they are looking for.

A female relative of one of the victims was also in the home at the time of the shooting, but was not injured.
