Suspect Sought in String of Dunkin Donuts Robberies

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police and Cheltenham Township Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for multiple commercial robberies.

The three robberies took place in Stenton and Cheltenham Township over a two week period in November.

The first incident occurred on November 15 th around 8:50 a.m.

Police say an unknown male entered the Dunkin Donuts on the 8100 block of Stenton Avenue armed with a gun, and wearing a surgical mask. The suspect approached employees and demanded they open the register.

Police say the suspect also pointing the handgun at a customer, demanding his money, and took off on foot with an unknown amount of cash from the register and customer.

The second incident occurred on November 29 th at a Dunkin Donuts on Front Street and Cheltenham Avenue

The suspect entered the store shortly before 6:00 p.m. after all customers had left the store. The suspect drew a handgun and demanded money from the register be place inside a bag.

The suspect fled on foot into Philadelphia after obtaining an undetermined amount of money,.

The third incident occurred on November 30 th just after 6:00 p.m. at the same Dunkin Donuts as the November 15 th incident. The armed suspect drew a handgun, demanded money from the registers, and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect has been described as a black male with light complexion, in his early to mid 20s, standing between 5'5" and 5'11".
