Therapeutic clowns graduate from program in Pennington

PENNINGTON, NJ (WTXF) - Capital Health and its Volunteer Services Department celebrated the graduation of two new clowns into its therapeutic clown program.

The program, which is run through Bumper T. Caring Clowns, Inc., provides clowns for visits with patients and visitors.

Therapeutic Clowning is a powerful tool in promoting the healing process.

Clowns are volunteers dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of hospitalized patients, their families, friends and caregivers.

Clowns complete a comprehensive clown training course on the art of gentle humor.

The therapeutic clown program is one of many programs offered by Capital Health's Volunteer Services Department.
