Three arrested, charged on heroin offenses in Egg Harbor

Three people were arrested and charged with various heroin-related offenses in Egg Harbor Township Thursday night.

According to a press release, an officer was conducting a property check at the Courtesy Inn on Tilton Road in the Farmington and witnessed a hand to hand drug transaction in the parking lot.

With the help of another officer, everyone involved was stopped and investigation continued.

A third officer and his K-9 partner, Niko, also helped.

The investigation yielded the discovering of 50 bags of heroin and the arrests of three subjects.

28-year-old Kathryn McDougall, 24-year-old Jamal Campos, and 22-year-old Jermaine Campos were arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of heroin with intent to distribute in a school zone.

Bail was set at $50,000 for McDougall and $100,000 on Jamal Campos.

Jermaine Campos was arrested on warrants, processed, and released after posting bail.
