JUNIATA (WTXF) - Police are investigating a triple shooting that took place in Juniata Wednesday night.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 4000 block of Howland Street at 10:46 p.m.
When they arrived at the location, officers found three victims, all suffering from gunshot wounds.
The first victim, a 28-year-old male, was suffering from a gunshot wound to the back and was taken to AEMC. The second victim, a 36-year-old male, was suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper arm and was taken to Temple Hospital. The third victim, a 34-year-old male, was suffering from two gunshot wounds to his abdomen and was taken to Temple Hospital.
The victims told police that they were outside decorating their homes with Christmas lights when a dark grey Chevy Impala with tinted windows drove down their block.
The vehicle drove 30-40 feet past the victims, then slowed down, stopped, and backed up to when the complainants were standing. The front passenger then asked the victims if they had a problem and if they had hit his car.
At that time, another male who was standing outside with the victims asked the front passenger if he had a problem. The front passenger then took out a handgun and fired at the victims. The vehicle then pulled off down the block and as it did, the front passenger fired 4-5 more time at the victims, striking them.
The vehicle then turned onto Lycoming Street and fled in an unknown direction.
The shooter is described as a black male in his 20s wearing a light grey knitted cap, brown complexion, armed with a dark grey semi-automatic handgun. The second suspect is described as a black male in his 20s with a darker complexion and shoulder length hair that is possibly dreadlocks.
