Tractor trailer crashes into pole causing fuel spill in Port Richmond

PORT RICHMOND (WTXF) - A tractor trailer crashed into a pole in Port Richmond, injuring one person and causing a fuel spill early Saturday morning.

The incident occurred at Aramingo Avenue and Wheatsheaf Lane around 2:00 a.m.

The tractor trailer hit a telephone pole at the corner of the intersection, causing a fuel spill and a power outage in the surrounding area including the neighboring Wawa.

One person was transported to Temple Hospital in unknown condition.

Traffic was blocked off on both Aramingo and Wheatsheaf for multiple blocks.
