Well-kept homes, big yards and a danger you can't see the water is contaminated in these wells in Horsham with dangerous chemicals.

“We've been getting our water tested they kept saying it's alright, it's alright, we got a phone call last week don't drink the water it's contaminated,” Joe Pilla said.

The problem is Joe Pilla has been drinking the water for 50 years-

“I got bladder cancer, I just had treatments yesterday,” Pilla daid.

Nearly 150 wells around the old former naval air station joint reserve base willow grove have flunked the EPA’s new tougher standards just changed last week.

Experts blame this firefighting foam for 2 of the hazardous chemicals they're finding.

The military had a packed open house today to answer questions.

They’re giving out bottled water and switching folks with contaminated water to the public system which they say they continually test to make sure it's safe.

“I’m just overwhelmed a lot of feelings questions through my mind,” Silva Deleon told FOX 29.

“I’m worried the level is still too high its bio cumulative, being stored in our bodies don't know if level still too high,” Nick Saponova.
