Two-car crash on Route 55 leaves 1 critical, others injured

GLASSBORO, N.J. (WTXF) - Police are investigating following a serious overnight crash on Route 55 in Glassboro, New Jersey.

The two-car crash happened around 11:45 p.m. Saturday.

Police say a Honda Accord was traveling southbound when it went off the road, reentered and crossed over into the northbound lanes, hitting a Nissan Rogue.

Highway traffic was reduced to one lane as emergency responders worked to rescue the people inside the cars involved.

The passengers in the Nissan Rogue were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the striking vehicle is listed in critical condition at Cooper University Hospital. A passenger from the same vehicle is listed in serious condition.
