Two killed, two injured in separate shootings In Chester

Two people are dead, and two others are hurt in separate shootings in Delaware County.

Both shootings happening within hours of each other in the city of Chester.

In the first incident, Chester Police say they found a 31-year-old man dead inside a car on 16th and Upland Streets around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday night.

Witnesses reported seeing a man running from the car after the shooting.

About an hour later, shots were fired on the 1100 block of Morton Avenue.

Firefighters working a nearby trash fire heard gunshots and then witnessed a car speeding away.

When police arrived they found three people with gunshot wounds.

They were taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center in unknown condition.

A 27-year-old man died after being shot in the back.

No arrests have been made in either incident. For the first time, the Chester Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward leading to an arrest in every murder.
